  Prostate Trouble Tips
 Bladder and Urinary System Prostate trouble - now is the time to act!
Six tips from naturopath A. Vogel:


1. Avoid exposing the area around the bladder to low temperatures. Ice-cold drinks do more harm than good.

2. Limit yourself to a moderate consumption of coffee, alcohol and nicotine; they affect every organ in the body - including the prostate.

3. Beware of the combination of alcohol and low temperatures (for example when drinking cocktails with ice), it can trigger a sudden, painful suppression of urine secretion (anuria).

4. Try to maintain a low-fat diet that is rich in fibre and vitamins. This will encourage regular bowel movements. Be sure to drink enough, and empty your bladder regularly.

5. Play sport and take plenty of outdoor exercise, try to avoid stress. This will keep you in peak condition and slow down the ageing process, which is one of the main causes of prostate enlargement.

6. From the age of 45 on, don’t forget to see your doctor regularly for a check-up!
